Comfort Measures Crash Course

Are you looking for a quick crash course to help you find mental strategies or breathing strategies to cope with labor? Does your partner need some guidance on how to support you during your birth? Do you have some fears or anxieties about the big day and how you are going to get through it? Comfort measures are not just for an unmedicated vaginal birth, but are useful and often most needed when labor does not go the way we planned.

Held on the first Saturday of Month from 10am-12pm at Homegrown Families Health & Education Center

Join us for this 1 1/2 hour class to give birthing people tools to feel safe and strong during their labor and help them relax down into the sensations they will feel rather than fight them. Partners will leave this class knowing when to talk, what to say (understanding your partner’s love language), how to support, how to touch and bring pain relief both during and between contractions.

Upcoming Dates:

  • Feb 15th 10am-12pm – Valentine’s Day Special
  • March 1st 10am-12pm
  • April 5th 10am-12pm
  • May 3th 10am-12pm
  • June 7th 10am-12pm
